Originally from Alberta, Brett grew up playing just about every sport competitively. This was his first exposure to sports injuries and proper rehabilitation.
Brett graduated from The University of British Columbia Okanagan with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 2018, where he also ran on the UBCO Cross-Country Varsity team in his fourth year. Brett’s love for running grew as he focused his attention to Ultra-Marathon running.
Furthering his education, he travelled to Sydney, Australia where he completed his Masters of Physiotherapy in 2021. Since then, he has found a true passion for endurance-based sports, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation.
Through exercise, manual therapy and biomechanical assessments, Brett strives to understand the “whole picture” when treating injuries. In his down time, you can find him outside running, biking and swimming during the summers and skiing in the winter.
